Hunting Rules & Guidelines
General Requirements
- All participants must present valid ID and sign a Hold Harmless Agreement before hunting.
- No hunting license needed in Florida
- The majority of hunting is conducted at night and not during the day. Hunters are pushed out to blinds and feeders 1 hour before dark and hunt all night or until you desire to terminate your sit. Drone hunts typically go all night as hunters are engaged with wild hogs. Recovery is conducted at night or early in the morning.
- Hunters shoot to kill and no spray shooting is permitted. This is a hunting expierence and therefore all hunters are responsible to ensure their equipment is dialed in and ready to go. All hunts conducted in South Carolina is a free range hunt and their are no guarantees. All hunts conducted in Florida is a guarteed kill rate. We work hard to ensure all hunters are briefed prior to their hunt.
- Communication: All hunters are put into a group thread for communication, accountablity and saftey.
- Bow Hunting is only conducted on our Florida Ranch.
- All hunters are responsible for their own lodging and food unless you are going with our Ultimate Outdoorsman Package which we provide snacks, waters, drinks and sandwhiches.
- Hunters act of their own free will. Colt Outfitters LLC, Juan Adriatico, all landowners, and leaseholders are held harmless in the event of accidents.
- Hunter Safety Course completion is required.
- Hunters must carry their valid hunting license at all times.
Alcohol & Drug Policy
- Strictly NO alcohol or drug use while on the property or during hunts.
Check-In Information

- Check-in: Day 1 between 8:00–9:00 A.M. at the office.
- Early check-in allowed in South Carolina (hunt begins on Day 1).
- All hunters must text 864-992-6158 (include name, party, and hunt dates) 5–7 days prior to arrival.

Hunting Schedule
- Hunts begin 1 hour before sunset and run all night.
- Rest during the day; hogs are most active after dark.
- All hunts start mid-day on Day 1 and conclude by noon on the final day.
Allowed & Prohibited Game
- Allowed: Hogs and Coyotes
- Prohibited: Deer, Bear, Turkey
Firearms & Equipment Rules
- Ammunition: Minimum 150 grain rounds required.
- Bow/Climbers: Safety harness required at all times.
- All firearms must be treated as loaded; accidental discharges are grounds for removal.
- Muzzle awareness is mandatory—violations result in removal with no refund.
- Equipment must be checked before and after each hunt.
- Dress to hunt, dress for the water events and dress for airsoft with long sleev shirts and pants.
Field Conduct & Safety
- All kills and shots must be reported immediately.
- No spray shooting—aim to kill and recover.
- Hogs must be disposed of at designated dump sites.
- Do not shoot unless you intend to kill and recover.
- Blinds and areas must be cleaned before departure.
- Hunters must respect all property boundaries.
- Violations will be reported to local Game Wardens.
Additional Rules
- No trash left behind.
- All gear is inspected. Missing items incur 200% replacement cost + inconvenience fee.
- Stolen gear will result in criminal charges and DNR involvement.
- All game must be photographed and documented.
- Catch and Release on all Trophy Bass on our Florida Ranch. Equipment provided by Colt Outfitters or you can bring your own.
- Communication: Maintain contact with guides and hunting parties (group text or WhatsApp).

Policies
There is a NO Refund policy on all deposits or on our services, so ensure you plan accordingly but you can gift your trip if you have not used the funds for your trip but the adventure must be booked according to your dates. There is a 50% security deposit on all trips to secure your dates.
