Rules: No drinking while hunting, all kills and shots must be reported, all communication is conducted throughout the hunt, no deer are to be shot, no turkey art to be shot, no trash permitted to be left behind in blinds, police all blinds before leaving, all equipment checks are conducted before and after each hunt, no grains below 150 grain permitted, harnesses must be worn by all bow hunters or climbers, all hunters must have taken hunters safety, all hunters must have their license on them at all times, all hunters must follow all rules and regulations at all times or they will be asked to leave with no refund. All hunters must be safe and take into consideration boundaries and adhere to safety regulations by South Carolina and Georgia Hunting Regulations. All guns are to be treated as loaded and checked and double checked to prevent any accidental discharges, accidents or death. If hunters do not comply with muzzle awareness they will be asked to leave with no refund. No guns are to ever be pointed at another person, hunter or human. All equipment is to be cross checked at our designated ranges prior to your hunt. Ensure all hunters dump all hogs at designated dump sights. We do not shoot and lay animals. All game is to be photographed and documented. No spray shooting. Shoot to kill with the intent to recover. Again, no drinking or intoxicated hunters permitted to hunt. All hunters are responsible for property boundaries and Colt Outfitters, Juan Adriatico, leasers or landowners are not responsible. Hunters who break these rules will be reported to local Game Wardens and Authorities. Colt Outfitters, Juan Adriatico, leasers, landowners are held hold harmless in case of any accidents or mishaps by all participants. All hunters or participants hunt at their own risk. We believe in good hunting ethics and work hard to offer a fair and exciting adventure for our hunters. All hunts start mid-day one and end by noon on the last day. Any missing gear hunters will be liable for a 200% up charge of the missing item and an inconvenience fee. Any stolen items will be tracked down as a criminal charge and all hunting rights may be terminated by DNR and considered a felony.

How many acres do we manage? We have thousands of acres of prime hog hunting in South Carolina and Georgia with all private land.

Values: We honor God with a prayer before we start. Colt Outfitters was named after his son Colt, and is a Veteran owned and family-based company. We do not promote alcohol, drugs or excessive usage on our farms, ranches or hunts. We take our faith and hunting serious. 

How often do you hunt? We hunt year-round. We cater to commercial based operation for corporations, military, and groups.

How many hogs can I shoot? 

You may shoot unlimited hogs and no spray shooting. Shoot to kill and NOT WOUND.

Cleaning Stations: We have cleaning stations available.

Local Lodging?: Our admin can prove you with a list of hotels and Airbnb's that are local and can accommodate your group.

How will I know where the set ups are?: We request everyone downloads "Hunt Stand Pro" & "OnX Hunt" to mark set ups.

Dogs: There is NO dog hunting on our properties permitted and only still or spot and stalk permitted.

Waivers: Waivers will either be signed in person Day One of your hunt or via Docusign.

License?: YES, YOU MUST HAVE A LICENSE IF YOU'RE HUNTING!

Since hunts occur both in South Carolina and in Georgia, it is the responsibility of the hunting party to acquire their license when they arrive. Do not buy your license in advance. 

Ensure you wait to buy your license when you get to the office.

We have multiple farms on the South Carolina and Georgia border and want to give you the best opportunity to kill.

Your license can be bought online.

There is a 3-day license that will cost you $40 for each state.

It is the responsibility of the hunter to have their license on them or phone to show any game warden. Colt Outfitters is not liable.

Alcoholic Usage? Drinking while hunting is not permitted.

We do have a gun and range at our sites.

Do you have gun and bow rentals? 

Yes, the rental for the entire hunt includes:

• 308 w/ thermal scope or crossbow w/ night vision
• Tripod
• 2 sets of batteries
• Battery charger
• Ammo

Archery Set Ups: Bow Hunters bring your own climber and harness. This will be the best way to get on top of the hogs. Ensure you wear your safety harness while climbing.

When does the hunt begin and end?

Check in is at 10:00am Day One - Check out is at 10:00am Day Three

How many farms and acreage do you have?
We hunt a network of farms to keep the free-range hog hunt success rates high and productive. 

This is not a pen hunt with a guarantee shot. 

When is the best time to hunt? The best time to hunt is from 4:00 P.M-8:00 A.M. 

Hogs and coyotes are most active at night, so we primarily hunt at night.

What is the success rate? There is an 90% success rate when you hunt till midnight and 95% success rate is you hunt all night.

Is this a fully guided hunt? Our hunts are normally semi-guided, but can be fully guided if requested.

What are your set ups like? 

We have set ups with motion green lights with timed motors that feed 1-2 times a day.

All blinds are ground blinds and have two chairs.

You will need to bring a tripod or bipod for your hunt if you do not have a rental as most of our blinds are soft blinds.

Do I need night vision or thermal scope to hunt? No, you can use a traditional scope and rifle with our green and red-light systems.

How do I pay?: All deposits are conducted by Venmo or Cashapp and the remainder is paid in cash, venmo, or cashapp.

In the description of the Cashappp or Venmo please list: Name of Party, Number of Party Leader, Party Size, Dates of Hunt, Lodging (yes or no).

Please do not send multiple payments from multiple party members. This is confusing for our staff. To keep the confusion down we ask that one party leader handle all funds.

What to bring?

Cleaning?: Bring gallons of water, cleaning knives, coolers, cleaning gloves and trash bags for all trash. Our cleaning station will have a rack and table but bring water! 

ATV: Feel free to bring your Polaris or ATV but no joy riding on the farms. It is only for game removal and recovery.

Gun Range: All hunters can sight in at the local public gun range but please come sighted in with your equipment before you get here.

Targets: Bring a portable target for the public range. You will need it. Be prepared. There are nice benches but bring extra ammo.

Winter Hunts: Bring a buddy heater for the blinds. It will get cold at night so be prepared. --Warm hunters hunt longer! Comfortable hunters kill more!

Summer Hunts: If it’s a summer hunt bring a thermal cell to keep the bugs off! (Purchase at Walmart or and Sporting Goods Store) 

Swim trunks for summer hunts (Lake Russel is a great lake to swim in)
